Project Summary

VortexeAI is a cutting-edge platform for rapidly prototyping and testing AI workflows, built from the ground up by a passionate team of three. With a strong focus on usability and customer feedback, the project has undergone five significant pivots over seven months, informed by over 100 customer interviews. It is now transitioning into an open-source library for vertical AI agent development, empowering the community to innovate and adapt the platform to their unique needs.

As the project lead and front end engineer, I collaborated closely with teammates handling backend and UI/UX in a tightly integrated agile/scrum environment. Working after our day jobs, we embraced a "build-test-learn" approach, iterating quickly and learning to identify actionable customer insights over distractions.

My Role

As the Project Lead and Frontend Developer for VortexeAI, I spearheaded strategic planning and execution, ensuring the project aligned with both business objectives and user needs. I engineered full-stack frontend solutions that incorporated advanced prompt engineering techniques to enhance performance and usability. My role extended to designing and building modular, reusable, pixel-perfect UI components, which significantly improved development efficiency and user satisfaction. Beyond technical contributions, I took an active role in customer engagement—conducting interviews, tech demos, and user testing to refine the platform through actionable feedback. Additionally, I contributed to product innovation by conceptualizing and implementing key features such as actions and workflows, ensuring the platform delivered meaningful and intuitive functionality to users.
